菅間周子 - 維奥隆尼琴（巴洛克低音提琴）
自從2013年菅間周子開始與歐洲各大古樂合奏團合作演出，包括 The Orchestra the Age of Enlightenment古樂團、大西洋青年古樂團、Ambronay 歐洲巴洛克學院古樂團等學習演出的機會。現今菅間周子與Capriccio古樂團、瑞士巴赫基金會古樂團等都有長期的合作演出。
Shuko Sugama - VIOLONE
born in Tokyo, has an intimate relationship to music through several
instruments since the age of seven. While she studies law at the University, she took first
lesson with double bass.
In 2009 she graduates of the Tokyo University of Art in major double bass. Led by her curiosity and interest to historical performance practice, Shuko integrates the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, Switzerland. In 2012, she gets a Master degree of double bass and also in 2014, she gets another Master degree of G-Violone. Her lifework is to discover and to present the repertoires for each bass instruments, like three-stringed bass in Italian style, five-stringed double bass in Viennese style and G-Violone, as well as to play basso continuo.
Since 2013, Shuko is a solo double bass player with Kammerorchester I Tempi. As an ensemble player, she is a member of Trio Stadlmann (Barytontrio) and Concerto Ripiglino, which won the H.I.F. Biber Prize at the 2017 International H.I.F. Biber Competition in Austria, receiving the highest marks in the categories of Artistic Expression and Sound Quality.
Shuko plays with The Orchestra the Age of Enlightenment, the Jeune Orchestre Atlantique, Ambronay European Baroque Academy and Britten-Pears Young Artists Program. She regularly plays with orchestras on period instruments such as Capriccio Barockorchester, J.S. Bach Stiftung, Le Parlement du Musique, and chamber orchestras such as Kammerorchester Basel and Bach Ensemble Rilling.
